Hi,
To start off the evening is fantastic, good to catchup with so many people and old memories.
But, in comparison with previous nights, this is below average. Just to point out so we not repeat this in coming years.
1. Host isn’t great, most of us were going into sleep while he’s talking. Compare this with the previous years. You will have the answer. Who ever did in the previous years were great.
2. There isn’t any kids entertainment as promised.
3. Little hods/snack outlets were much less compared to previous years.
4. No awards been handed on best male, female or couple dancers.
5. Food is average but didn’t expect more.
Biggest disappointment it’s an overall vibe, and the space. Too many people and not enough space or time being give to dance.
When compared with the downstairs St. Patrick’s Jaffna event, there are a few areas where our event could have benefited from further refinement. While the intention behind inviting a YouTuber as the host was appreciated, there were moments when the communication was not entirely clear to all attendees.
The seating arrangement felt somewhat congested, with tables placed closely together and a considerable number of decorations occupying table space, which may have affected comfort.
On a positive note, the DJ performed well, and it was enjoyable to reconnect with several old friends. The food was satisfactory and met expectations.
With slightly improved planning and organisation, the overall experience could have been enhanced. Overall, the event delivered an average but acceptable experience.
To be honest, vibe was missing this time due to poor hosting, Our guys did much better hosting in 2023. Crystal food is crap as usual. DJ was better than 2023. We missed what we had is 2023 Bamba Night (Small Canteen, buns, rolls and much better welcome drinks). Children activities were missing. Hall is small not enough space. Table service is down side for the event, we have call for the food every time. We only enjoyed the photographs, dance and Milo Martini. Haven’t seen anyone getting dance awards. Hope we’ll have a better event in 2027. Thank you.
Very good event. Well organised and good entertainment for everyone attended.
Thank you
